On this episode of On the Job With PORAC, PORAC President Brian Marvel and Vice President Damon Kurtz sit down with special guest Otis "Odie" Gallop of the hit TV show SWAT on CBS to talk about life beyond the badge. Before becoming an Actor, Technical Consultant, and Costume Advisor for the show, Odie was an actual SWAT officer with the San Diego Police Department. Odie spent 28 years with the San Diego PD and he had various assignments from Patrol, Narcotics, Beach Team, SWAT and even Executive Protection for the city Mayor’s office! Hear about his past with the department and how he impacts the direction of SWAT to bring the most realistic feel to the TV show.

Gliatta took the time to explain what the position entails, the benefits of working at the Office of Independent Review (OIR) and how he approached the role.
